David Farren was born in 1972 in Wiltshire and studied art at Bristol. He is now based in Lancashire where he works from a studio in his home when he is not away painting on location.

David uses expressive brushwork and colour to represent the energy and movement of the urban landscape, providing a snapshot of everyday life. His aim is to capture the ambience and individuality of some of the world’s most exciting cities in Europe and the USA. He produces his high-impact images in acrylic and oils, enjoying the immediacy and versatility of both mediums which he finds particularly well-suited to his direct style of painting. He is fascinated by the changing seasons and how the varied light affects a scene, and his distinctive use of colour is an essential part of reflecting this.

David has exhibited widely across the U.K with great success. His atmospheric paintings can be found in collections across Europe and America.

“Since visiting New York for the first time in 2000, I have found a real passion for depicting urban day-to-day scenes and trying to capture the energy and drama of city life. I was overwhelmed by its scale and vibrancy and have returned several times since to express the different moods of the city in paint. I also have a great fondness for European cities with their mixture of old and new architecture. I like to concentrate on the people as they go about their everyday business and try to capture moments of everyday life.”

Anna Razumovskaya is a graduate of the Russian State University For Arts, where she was awarded the distinction of high-class artist in 1991. Subsequently, studying art in Germany, Belgium and Holland. With solo exhibitions in New York, Paris, Toronto, Amsterdam, Antwerp and Berlin and numerous works in private collections across the globe, her authority as an artists needs little explanation.

Anna Razumovskaya’s art has a pervasive sense of ‘romanticism’. The passionate and dynamic application of paint on the canvas and the artist’s signature use of expressive colour, combine to create Razumovskaya’s distinctive style.

Razumovskaya describes the creative process in the following terms…

“…If an artist were asked what he was thinking of while creating his work, he would hardly give a reasonable answer to that question. This process cannot be analyzed. It is like a miracle.

You are just drawing and that is all… simply not thinking of anything definite. The moment you start thinking… and that’s it- unnecessary stroke, unnecessary detail. God knows how it all happens. Pleasure, passion, joy here are characteristics of this process.”

Fine artist Paul James is a remarkable and fascinating man. He is a gifted wildlife, animal and landscape artist and an amazing composer and pianist. It would seem that if he has set his heart on learning something he goes for it big time.

In fact should you make reference to his talents Paul will argue that his creative abilities are not down so much to talent but more about his attitude and application to his craft; he certainly demonstrates a dogged determination to succeed in everything he does and he admits a desire for recognition and respect as an artist.

He was born and grew up in Leicestershire, England. His artistic and musical abilities became apparent from a relatively early age and with the support and encouragement of his parents he is essentially self taught. He did go to Art College at the insistence of his teachers to study graphic design, but being something of a rebel he did not wish to conform to the course requirements so left and began to make something of a living painting classic cars and commissions of neighbours pet dogs and cats.

Paul then went on to develop a career in music playing both organ and piano in a range of pubs clubs and cocktail bars. However, it did not quite live up to the rock star lifestyle that he had envisaged so he returned to his art and began painting professionally in 1986. It was the haunting beauty of the nearby Charnwood Forest that greatly influenced his early atmospheric landscape and animal paintings for which he became renowned.
