News : Art For A Special Occasion

stacey

One of our specialist art advisors at out Jenners gallery, Stacey (pictured above) was delighted to receive a lovely bunch of flowers and a bottle of wine from a delighted customer.

Cat & Nick Solly had been searching for the rare limited edition print of Nadeem’s art work; “Forever”.  Depicting a couple walking hand in hand into the distance, our soon to be married couple were desperate to buy this wonderful art work as a special present for each other to mark the special occasion of their wedding.

Having tried, in vain, to obtain the painting from several other galleries the couple had almost given up hope until they spoke to Stacey at the Breeze gallery in Jenners.

Cat and Nick were both very emotional and couldn’t be happier. Cat explained to me that it was hard to find great customer service these days and was overjoyed with the friendly and professional service she received form Breeze. If she is needing more art in the future we will be the first she will contact and most definitely recommend Breeze art galleries to all of her friends!

News : Hand Signed Bob Dylan Art

One of the things that people don’t often realise about our limited edition graphics is that they are hand signed by the artist. When we take customers to see the Drawn Blank Series prints by legendary artist Bob Dylan and explain the the great man has personally signed the piece of art they are looking at, the sense of awe that we feel is instantly passed to them.

Of course it’s the image, the art itself, that immediately grabs people’s attention. As Dylan himself said; “The purpose of art is to stop time”. Buying a piece of art is something buying something that can and should be treasured – and it should also evoke strong memories and feelings whenever it is viewed.

Having an affordable piece of limited edition art in your home and have it personally hand-signed by such an influential artist as Bob Dylan just makes it all the more special.

Visit a breeze gallery near you to view the Drawn Blank Series of limited edtition graphics by Bob Dylan.

It is testament to the power of art that it can evoke so many emotions in people. An absolute master at capturing the spirit or a memory is Scottish artist, Alexander Millar.

Visiting our gallery in Jenners in Edinburgh, a customer, while in conversation with our gallery manager, told of how the limited edition print of “Catch Me If You Can” and the wonderful original art work by Alexander Millar; “Let Me At It” instantly transported him back to being a small child and playing games of football whenever he was visiting his grandparents. Our customer said that it was almost as if the artist had modelled his ‘Gadgie’ character on his own grandfather. As our gallery manager replied; “You wouldn’t believe how many times we hear people saying that of Alexander Millar’s art work!”.

This important event will bring together a fantastic portfolio limited editions, original paintings and sculpture from Britain’s best loved artist.

Born in Perth, Western Australia, Rolf has always loved art; Even before he went to Primary School, whenever anyone asked him “What are you going to be when you grow up?” his immediate response was “An artist!”.

In the mid 1950′s, for two years running, some of Rolf’s paintings were featured in the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy. While painting continued to be a private passion of his, it was for his television and stage performances that Rolf became a household name. In recent years Rolf has devoted more time to painting and has had a number of one-man shows, including the Rolf on Art exhibition at the National Gallery.

Rolf has been awarded the CBE, is a member of the Order of Australia and has won many awards for his work in the entertainment industry. Recently he was made an honorary member of the Royal Society of British Artists. His portrait of Her Majesty The Queen, commissioned by the BBC to celebrate her eightieth birthday, was the subject of a BBC1 programme ‘The Queen, by Rolf’ which was screened on New Year’s Day 2006.
