the source for inspiration came from a desire to create contemporary art pieces of scottish wildlife that challenges the eye whilst leaving some detail to the viewers imagination. aegir works in solid steel wire, hand crafting each piece individually. once complete the sculpture is mounted to unique wooden plinths made from naturally felled scottish wood made by sculptor duke christie.
these outstanding works of art are limited to 25 pieces in each title, although it is deemed that each piece could indeed qualify as an original due to the level of individual hand finishing.
