News : Borders Children’s Charity Donation
In October of this year, Breeze were delighted to auction off a signed Alexander Millar football.
This auction was held at Hopetoun House during Millar’s recent visit to Scotland. The auction raised £666 with the full donation given to the Borders Children’s Charity.
A message from the charity secretary Sarah Wilson:
“Many thanks for the cheque for a massive £666 following your charity auction. This is a fantastic donation for Borders Children’s Charity and we are extremly grateful that once again you have been kind enough to choose BCC as the recipient. Please pass on our thanks to all who were involved in the event.
The BCC does everything it can to help disadvantaged and sick children in the Borders and every penny of your donation will go towards helping these children. Requests are increasing all of the time and just this month for example, we have had requests for beds, bedding, school trips, clothes and baby essentials for children finding themselves in some truly dreadful situations. The money raised will all go towards helping to provide such support and essentials.
