Breeze

A stunning collection of sculptures by Lorenzo Quinn (son of the famous Hollywood actor Anthony Quinn and acclaimed artist in his own right) will be touring the Breeze galleries this winter.

First Love depicts the fragile and poignant moment that two hands touch.

The obvious influence of Rodin can also be felt in Trust, which conveys a beautiful sense of affection and tenderness and this echoes in Lorenzo’s words ‘I don’t believe in purely decorative works. It must transmit emotions; it must say something to me and the people that observe it’.

This poetic description the Quinn makes of his work, which will be in further evidence at the events, is in keeping with other respected artists, such as Ian Hamilton Findlay. These events promise to be a thought provoking experience not to be missed.
