Tony Gittens

born in wolverhampton in 1970, I left school with a levels in art and design and at 17 and decides to join my father’s company so as to enable me to fund my passion for painting. having found my way into surveying until the age of 26, whilst spending all of mu spare time at th easel, I decided to give further time to my art work and push to become a full time artist. over the next few years and having the opportunity of freelance work my painting took priority until I had my first publishing deal a few years later. from then until now my passion for fine art has burnt ever stronger and I consider myself blessed to be able to create original works every day. having experimented with different styles, mediums and subjects, I now find that my paintings are best suited to oils and canvas onto which I create highly lit paintings of the worlds wonderful cities and landscapes.
